just like carrie in her tutu skirt in the intro to S&TC, i decided to wear my gorgeous tulle skirt on the wrong day. carrie might have gotten splashed by a puddle as a bus drove by, but i got rained on all. day. long. new york was a cold, rainy mess. but if there’s a place to take refuge from the rain, it’s certainly lincoln center during NYFW. are you wondering why i didn’t tell you where my beautiful black umbrella is from? {kidding}. i’m glad i had a cvs on my corner where i found this $1 umbrella, otherwise i would have even more closely resembled a wet dog. this post reminds me, i need a really great umbrella for upcoming spring showers so that my outfit posts are more successful– any recommendations?
